Following on from a massive hit out earlier this year, Sunset Sounds is coming back tor the Hunter Valley this November.
And, this time around, organisers of the popular festival have curated a lineup that boasts some of the best singer-songwriters this country has produced.
Jaw-dropping multi-instrumentalist Xavier Rudd is leading the charge with what is essentially a who’s who of Australian balladry with the likes of Pete Murray, Kasey Chambers, Josh Pyke, and Ben Lee joining the festival fray.
Rounding out the already impressive lineup, the summery sounds of The Beautiful Girls, the neo-folk soul of Kyle Lionhart, and Tamworth-via-Sydney songwriter Charlie Collins.
“I’m stoked to join the lineup for Sunset Sounds festival on Wonnarua Country and to share some new music on stage,” Xavier Rudd said.
” It’s an exciting time for people, a time to reset, a time for gratitude, a time to remember how lucky we are that we can celebrate life, love, music etc so freely in this magical country that we get to call home.”
Empire Touring’s Marc Christowski echoed the sentiment, adding: “The Hunter Valley is one of Australia’s greatest destinations and we are thrilled to bring together a lineup of some of Australia’s most awesome live acts.
“What can be better than kicking back with some beautiful Hunter Valley wine and watching the likes of Xavier, Pete and Kasey?”
