Sunnyboy Kiosk – Dixon Park Beach’s newly renovated food outlet is now open for business!
Its refurbishment is part of City of Newcastle’s Coastal ongoing coastal revitalisation works and includes a renewal of the iconic Mark Richards mural.
Beach-goers will be able to enjoy plenty of shade and seating at the kiosk, which overlooks Bathers Way, while enjoying a cup of coffee, a scoop of gelato, fresh juice, an acai bowl, a selection of pastries, some fish and chips or a hamburger.
“Sunnyboy Kiosk will be the place to be this summer,” Sunnyboy Kiosk lessee and operators Tom and Nova Carias said.
“We opened our doors to the public this week just in time for the start of the summer school holidays and we look forward to sunny days ahead welcoming surfers straight out of the water, beachgoers off the beach with sandy feet and meeting locals who will make this their regular coffee haunt.”
