Well, it’s time to crack your knuckles in anticipation of some serious crate digging because the ever-popular Newcastle Record and CD Fair is on once again.
A staple on the calendars of Novo audiophiles, the fair promises to offer up literally thousands of rare and collectable records that traverse myriad genres. From soul, pop and reggae, to punk, hip-hop and rock, you will be hard pressed not to find something worthy of throwing on the turntable.
The requisite bargain bins will also make an appearance, appeasing the more frugal collector.
If you like your discs a little more compact, that’s okay too because the fair will also be replete with rows and rows of tasty CDs.
The Newcastle Record and CD Fair is on at the Uniting Church Hall, Beaumont Street, Hamilton on Sunday 28 April from 9am to 4pm. Entry is just $1.
