Spiegeltent Newcastle will once again take over Civic Park this October with a month-long spectacle of world-class circus and cabaret called La Ronde.
Fresh from a critically acclaimed debut at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, La Ronde promises a night of jaw-dropping talent and seductive performance.
The show features a dazzling lineup of international acts, including gravity-defying aerialists performing with just their hair or mouth, a flying-pole artist whose feats rival any superhero, and a cabaret diva straight from Europe’s vibrant scene.
Produced by Strut & Fret, the team behind smash-hit shows like LIMBO and Blanc de Blanc, La Ronde is a fast-paced, genre-blending variety show that doesn’t take its foot off the gas.
“La Ronde will feel like a dizzying carousel ride of sensations, especially as the audience is so close to the performers,” La Ronde producer Jess Copas said.
“You’ll feel a bit of everything throughout the show – it’s intimate and elegant one moment, high-energy and hysterical the next!

Spiegeltent Newcastle has become a mainstay of the city’s cultural calendar, The venue itself, with velvet-draped walls and gleaming mirrors, feels more like a dream than a local stage, making it the perfect home for a show as bold and beautiful as La Ronde.
