Southern Sons will reunite for a 35th Anniversary tour next year, but local fans will have to travel to Wyong to see the show.
Original members Jack Jones (vocals, guitar), Geoff Cain (bass), and Peter ‘Reggie’ Bowman (guitar, vocals) will be joined by Pete Drummond on drums at The Art House in February.
This marks the first time the band has performed together in years much to the delight of fans eager to revisit the band’s classic hits.
Southern Sons rose to fame in the early ’90s with hits like Heart in Danger, Hold Me In Your Arms, Always & Ever, and their debut single, Heart in Danger.
“I’m proud of everything I’ve done, but Southern Sons is where it all started for me,” frontman Jack Jones said.
“The band represents a remarkable time in my life.”
