Beresfield low and slow barbecue legends, Full Throttle BBQ will play host to the Snowy’s Sensational Pie & Music Festival this November.
Jacob ‘Snowy’ Snowden, Newcastle’s favourite pie reviewer will host the event featuring live music, the final round in the Steak Cook-Off Association competition and, of course, pie-eating competitions.
Snowy told the Today Show earlier this year that the Full Throttle BBQ pies, which sell out early every day, were the best he’s ever tried giving the brisket, cheese and jalapeno pie a ten out of ten.
One of the highlights of the festival will undoubtedly be the Pro Pie Eating Competition with competitors coming from around the State to take the top gong which will see them represent NSW in the pie-eating State of Origin to be held in Queensland in 2023.
Amateurs will also get a chance in the Amateur Pie Eating Competition and for us uncompetitive eaters there’ll be plenty of beer, food and drinks stalls to choose from.
The event will also feature live performances from Tamworth Toyota Star maker winner Max Jackson, local band All Access and singer-songwriter Audie.
Tickets to the Snowy’s Sensational Pie & Music Festival on Sunday, 6 November 2022, are limited and can be purchased from eventbrite.com.au. You can find Full Throttle BBQ at 10 Yangan Drive in Beresfield. Visit ftbbq.com.au to find out more.
