Locals are being urged to roll out their sleeping bags and show their support for some of the city’s most vulnerable residents as part of the 2025 Sleepout for Soul event.
Organised by Soul Hub, the event is the organisation’s major annual fundraiser, aiming to raise $200,000 to fund essential services for those doing it tough in our community.
More than just a fundraiser, Sleepout for Soul has built a reputation as a heartwarming, family-friendly community gathering, packed with live music, food vans, games, and inspiring stories all in support of people experiencing homelessness and hardship.
Sleepers can expect a vibrant evening of performances from local artists, food and drink from local vendors, and hands-on fun, including fire pits and giant Jenga. There’s also the chance to bid in live auctions for exciting prizes, with every dollar going directly to Soul Hub’s frontline support services.
Beyond the entertainment, the event offers a sobering look at the reality of homelessness, with personal stories from the Soul Hub team and the people they help.
It’s a powerful reminder of why the community comes together each year—to show solidarity, advocate for change all while helping achieve the fundraising $200K goal.
