Perth rockers, Birds of Tokyo will headline a brand-new food, drink, arts and entertainment festival in Lake Macquarie.
Showcasing the best of the region, with a killer lineup of live music, the festival will be held over three days on 31 March to 2 April.
Other acts who’ll grace the MainStage over the three festival days include indie folk favourite Pierce Brothers and legendary Grinspoon rocker Phil Jamieson.
A Culinary Stage will feature chefs and restauranteurs from across the region sharing knowledge about cooking with local ingredients. Celebrity chef and healthy living advocate Geoff Jansz will be one of the highlights of this program alongside many of the regionโs wine, beer, spirits and local gourmet food producers.
“Our festival celebrates creativity, diversity and all things that make our local regional communities great. The Hunter Valley region is already recognised as one of Australiaโs best wine regions and a gourmet getaway,” Festival co-director James Harding said.
“We are honoured and excited to have the opportunity to work with and celebrate such talented, creative, and passionate people, who each make a vital contribution to the vibrancy, prosperity and sustainability of our amazing industries, region and state.”

On top of some great live music, and killer foodie interactions the festival will also serve as a platform for the debut of some special product releases, unique collaborations and exciting recipes.
A masterclass stage will give festival-goers a stack of opportunities to hear from leading food experts and take part in some exciting workshops and family-friendly activities. This stage will be the place to be to discover the latest trends and put your local trivia knowledge to the test.
Sip and Savour will take over Speers Point Park in Lake Macquarie from 31 March until 2 April. Tickets are on sale now via eventbrite.com.au.
