Everybody knows that the height of culinary fanciness is bunging a couple of ingredients into a bag and shaking the bejeebus out of it.
Thankfully fast-food giant McDonald’s has cottoned onto that fact as well and has seen fit to bring back its popular Cheeseburger Shaker Fries.
From today (Wednesday 5 August) and for a strictly limited time, fast food fanciers can grab themselves a sachet of the miracle sprinkle for the low, low price of 50 cents when ordering fries.
“Our delicious fries, which are made from 100 per cent Australian potatoes, are an iconic part of our menu and a fan favourite right around the country,’ McDonald’s Australia marketing director Jo Feeney said.
“Our popular Cheeseburger Shaker Fries will be returning to the menu for a limited time, giving our customers the option to shake things up next time they order fries.”
In conjunction with the return of the shaker fries, McDonald’s has also launched its ‘Fry Guarantee’ – meaning that if your fries are not hot and fresh enough for your liking this month, Maccas will replace them on the spot. No questions asked.
Even better, if you’re too darn busy to hang around for your replacement fries, thank you very much, they’ll give you a voucher to redeem on your next order.
