See Stiffys at The Lass this Friday night

The guys at The Lass O’Gowrie Hotel have a cracker show lined up for this Friday night (May 16) with The Stiffys headlining the bill.

The Stiffys are a Melbourne two-piece rock band who were widely heralded as the band to watch in 2013.Jason Leigh (bass) and Adam Stagg (drums) created the band from their share house to play a once-off show at a warehouse party. They recorded their debut 13 minute album in one take from the same warehouse and found themselves on a sold out national tour not long after. The eccentric pair have been described as ‘like Death From Above 1979 on the beach’ and a ‘must see live act’.

Supporting The Stiffys are a band whose main goal is to create a meaningful and immersive experience for the audience. Touchy Third Uncle’s focus is on rhythm and atmosphere, they collaborate on a range of influences in hopes to create the most emotive music as possible whilst also giving you something to dance to. They describe their music as ‘fundamentally bi-polar’ with a ‘rhythmic alternative rock’ and a “raw folk and groove’.

They bands take to the stage at The Lass on Friday May 16 from 9pm. For more infomration visit the shows Facebook page –
