Following on from a massive 2018 event that saw the likes of Bob Evans, Cloud Control, and Last Dinosaurs take to the stage, Bitter And Twisted is back, bigger and better than ever!
The popular Maitland boutique beer festival will welcome Brisbane-bred quirky pop legends Custard as well as Newcastle’s own soul-tronic duo Boo Seeka who will lead a stellar lineup of talent for 2019.
Also confirmed to keep Hunter Valley brew hounds entertained with great tunes are brassy Brisbanites Bullhorn, Sunshine Coast rockers The Hi-Boys,funk-groove duo Burger Joint, country swinger The Long Johns, and local legends Kookshill, Rubix Cuba and Lili Crane
No strangers to festival stages, it’s always a great time when Custard is around thanks to such danceable fare as Music Is Crap, Apartment, and Pack Yr Suitcases.
Boo Seeka, meanwhile are fresh off the back of releasing their latest single Rush earlier this year and, after a year of non-stop touring are sure to be a well-oiled groove unit when they hit Maitland.
“We’re thrilled to have these headliners and all the other bands coming to Bitter & Twisted this November.,” Maitland Council’s events officer Beth Anastasiou said.
“We’ve got an awesome mix of genres, with local and interstate acts. All this is in addition to a range of twisted entertainment which will be particularly out of the ordinary this year.’
More announcements regarding brewers will be made in the coming weeks.
Tickets for Bitter and Twisted 2019 will go on sale on International Beer Day, Friday 2 August.
