Do you have a hankering for a day out with fine friends, finer food, wonderful wines and terrific tunes set in an idyllic ocean-view locale?
Well, fear not, because the Lighthouse Festival, set to take over Norah Head this November will definitely tick all of those boxes.
Perched on a headland overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Norah’s exquisite coastline, it’s, without doubt, one of the more breathtaking festival locations in Australia.
But what about the music? Well, virtuosic multi-instrumentalist Xavier Rudd will bring his laid back style to proceedings.
Hailing from Australia’s surf hotspot Torquay, Rudd kickstarted his career in 2002 with the now-classic album To Let, before going on to release seven studio LPs over the next thirteen years.
Joining Xavier on the first artist announce is Gold Coast-based reggae legends The Sea Gypsies who are sure to ramp up the party vibe to eleven.
More acts are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Guests will also be able to enjoy wine tastings on arrival before heading to the grassy hill to indulge in delectable picnic hampers.
As the sun sets and the headlight shines, the picnic will become a party. The food and wine space will come alive delivering culinary delights to get you buzzing for the main event.
