2020 is certainly shaping up to be a massive year for shows, especially up in Wine Country with the likes of Elton John, Cold Chisel and A-ha heading to the vineyards in the new year.
Well, this latest announcement set to cement that massive year in stone.
Yep, that’s right. The man himself, Sir Rod Stewart is heading to Roche Estate on Saturday 24 October 2020.
This year, Rod is celebrating an astonishing 50-year career as a solo artist and the man responsible for such timeless hits as Maggie May, Young Turks, Do Ya Think I’m Sexy and You’re In My Heart, is still very much at the top of his game.
Celebrating the auspicious milestone, Sir Rod has followed up a triumphant stadium tour with one of his biggest UK tours to date with shows running through November and December.
The Downtown Train hitmaker also jmped across the pond for a series of shows at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, as part of a multi-year residency while adding three sold-out Hollywood Bowl concerts which were also a landmark reunion set with his former bandmate Jeff Beck.
Warner Music will continue the celebration too, releasing You’re In My Heart: Rod Stewart With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
The album, to be released on November 22 pairs classical vocal tracks from Rod’s best-loved songs with stirring arrangements from the Royal Philharmonic.
Rod Stewart will play at Roche Estate on Saturday 24 October 2020.
