He’s the YouTube satirist known for his on-point takedowns of Australia’s most powerful and spicy hot-takes on cultural phenomenons like Married At First Sight.
And after a stellar Newcastle turn in 2019, Friendlyjordies aka Jordan Sparks is headed back to Newcastle for THREE shows.
Yep, that’s right Friendlyjordies will be appearing at 48 Watt Street across two shows on Friday 24 April and will back up with a third on Saturday 25 April.
This time around, Jordan will be bringing his new show Friendlyjordies Cancels The Media to town and given the attention given to the Murdoch press of late over its coverage of the climate debate and bushfire catastrophe, there is going to be lots to talk, and laugh about.
“Ever since I learned there was a propaganda model created in the early 1900s that filters all media so the public only sees what the elite want them to see I have been obsessively tracking its ramifications,” Jordan said.
“It’s truly horrific. There is no democracy. It’s all a lie… can I have some money?”
The prolific and hilarious content creator has produced more than 450 videos for his YouTube channel, on which he has amassed more than half a million followers.
Never one to shy away from speaking truth to power Friendlyjordies made headlines in 2019 after being threatened with a defamation lawsuit by Clive Palmer after Jordan referred to the mining enthusiast and Palmer United Party head as a “dense Humpty Dumpty,” and “Fatty McFu**head”
Catch Friendlyjordies Cancels The Media at 48 Watt Street on Friday 24 April (6.30pm and 8.30pm) and Saturday 25 April (7pm). Get your tickets here.
