She’s the Sydney-based chanteuse who, on Sunday night, took out top honours in the hit Channel Nine singing reality show The Voice.
And hot on the heels of that auspicious win, Diana Rouvas will be heading to our nec of the woods with a special show at Lizotte’s this September.
The show is set to be a bit of a double celebration for Diana who is set to release her bombastic new single Wait For No One which she performed on air after being crowned the winner of The Voice 2019 on Sunday night.
The track is a slamming pop, soul rocker with a throwback nod to those earthy rock tones of yesteryear.
“My songs are always truthful – I wouldn’t sing something I didn’t believe in, so when i perform, i want the audience to really connect with an emotion,” she said of the track.
Diana, who beat runner up Daniel Shaw entered the show as an All Star, having appeared on the show’s inaugural season in 2012.
A member of Team George, Diana wowed with an emotional rendition of the Whitney Huston classic I Will Always Love You.
The track, originally performed by Dolly Parton was enough to move mer mentor Boy George to tears.
Diana is the first woman to win the competition since 2015 when then 16-year-old Ellie Drennan took home the top prize.
