SAVE A LIFE: Ruby is looking for a new forever home

Meet Ruby, a very sweet three-year-old Bull Arab that came into Dog Rescue Newcastle’s care in November with her nine, three-week-old pups in tow.

Ruby is now looking for a new forever home after feeding all nine babies until they were ready to go to new families.

Ruby’s journey has been remarkable. Despite the challenges of being moved with her pups early on, she quickly settled into her foster home, forming bonds with other dogs and showing a soft and gentle nature towards both adults and kids.

Her intelligence shines through as she readily takes to training, proving herself to be a smart and adaptable companion.

This affectionate girl is happiest when she’s by your side, ready to shadow you around the house or sit at your feet. Her way of leaning her head against your leg is a clear expression of love.

Ruby is not just a pet; she’s a member of the family waiting to happen. To ensure her well-being, a home with secure fences and space for playtime would be ideal, allowing Ruby to thrive and bring joy to her new family.

Ruby recently had an exciting day out at Young Street Hotel, showcasing her excellent behaviour as she strolled through the front bar into the courtyard.

Her culinary adventure included ordering the puppy platter from the menu, a brilliant idea that added to her delightful day. The afternoon was topped off with some playtime at Horseshoe Beach, where she mingled with the locals.

Now available for adoption through Dog Rescue Newcastle, Ruby comes with the added benefit of having her microchip, vaccination and desexing costs covered.
