San Cisco to play The Small Ballroom

From sold out shows in LA, New York, Tokyo and London to major festivals like Lollapalooza and Reading, San Cisco are now headed to Newcastle for a show at The Small Ballroom on Friday November 28.

Much of this year has seen Jordi, Scarlett, Josh and Nick  laying down tracks in the studio with long term collaborator, Steven Schram. It is with that fresh inspiration that the band hit the road for a run around the country.

The band will bring Triple J Unearthed favourites Montaigne whose Jessica Cerro was a triple j Unearthed High finalist of 2012.

San Cisco will use the tour to showcase the first single “RUN” from their highly anticipated 2nd album, due out early next year. “RUN” has a little bit of everything – handclaps, a catchy bass line, an equally catchy chorus, disco inspirations and a fair whack of soul. It shows the band evolving beyond pop to a sophisticated sound that’s distinctively their own.

Tickets for the Small Ballroom show goes on sale 9am, Thursday 23rd October. For more information visit The Small Ballroom’s website.
