Given the nature of their breakneck brand of precision metal, Iron Maiden tribute bands are pretty few and far between.
And when it comes to all-female Maiden flag bearers, that pool is even shallower.
In fact, there is just one all-female Iron Maiden tribute act on this planet and they are making their way to Newcastle in 2020!
That’s right, The Iron maidens will be blowing the doors off The Cambridge Hotel on Sunday 5 April.
Hot on the heels of a sold-out 2018 tour, the Iron Maidens re back to satisfy Australia’s craving of all things Maiden with their intense and electrifying live show which has received rave reviews the world over.
In fact, that recognition has extended to the original band themselves with frontman Bruce Dickinson and bass player Steve Harris singing their praises.
Consisting of Kirsten ‘Bruce Chickinson’ Rosenberg (vocals) Linda ‘Nikki McBURRain’ McDonald (drums), Courtney ‘Adriana Smith’ Cox (guitar), Nikki ‘Davina Murray’ Stringfield (guitar) and Wanda ‘Steph Harris’ Ortiz (drums), the Iron maidens have built a reputation for their musical prowess and stellar performances which covers all eras of Maiden as well as fan favourites.
Like any classic Maiden show, the theatrics are not held back and fans can expect appearances from characters including Maiden mascot, Eddie, the Devil, Grimreaper and more.
