Travel back three decades ago. Back to a bodacious time when hair was big, legs were warm, the rock was Glam and people spoke a whole other language. To a time when every dude was totally down to not have a cow and get freaked out and take a chill pill because the music was dope, the bomb, gnarly, legit, and like, totally mental. Ladies and Gentlemen, for the first time in Newcastle, welcome to L.A. and the Sunset Strip’s world-famous Bourbon Room. Welcome to ROCK OF AGES!
ABOUT THE SHOW
Set in 1987 on the Sunset Strip, a small-town girl meets a big-city dreamer – and in L.A.’s most legendary rock club, they fall in love to the greatest songs of the ’80’s. It’s an awesomely good time where big hair meets big dreams, in a hilarious, feel-good, Rock `n’ Roll love story, told through the hit songs such as I Want to Know What Love Is, Don’t Stop Believin’, The Final Countdown, We Built This City and More Than Words by iconic rockers such as Foreigner, Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Poison, Starship, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake and many more. ROCK OF AGES was also nominated for Five 2009 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
