Novocastrians will be the first to see what Regurgitator have in store for their 2018 national tour when the Brisbane band rolls into town this Thursday, 2 August. And during a recent chat with the band’s bassist Ben, there is lots to be excited about.
“Everything about the new stuff is exciting. The new songs are some of the best we’ve done, we’ve played around with some of the back catalog and all the fluro merch we’ve got for the tour and its pretty rad” Ben tells us.
Regurgitator’s 9th album Headroxx, due out on 1 August, sees Ben and frontman Quan continuing their dance audio mayhem. The release was recorded in a studio in Byron Bay as well as a touch at Wild Mountain Sound with mastering by Margaret Luthar at Chicago Mastering.
“The album cover and some of our merch were done by a guy named Ben Adams. He’s amazing. You should check out his stuff on at Freak Street on Facebook“.
Supporting Regurgitator on the tour is one of our favourite bands, Glitoris.
“We just saw them playing in a club one night and they were perfect. We love that band” Ben Says.
Regurgitator plays The Cambridge Hotel on Thursday, 2 August.
