The Red Hot Summer tour will kick off a series of Facebook live streams next weekend.
The first session will feature the James Reyne Duo streamed live from the front bar at The Corner Hotel in Richmond.
While the stream will be free to watch, festival organisers hope that the live stream events will be a small boost to the Australian music industry which has been devastated by the COVID-19 related restrictions.
The Red Hot Summer tour hopes to put some cash into the pockets of featured artists, host venues, ticketing outlets, production teams and associated music businesses by selling virtual tickets and exclusive event t-shirts.

The live stream will be hosted on The Red Hot Summer tour’s Facebook page on Sunday, 31 May 31 ar 3.00 pm AEST.
Virtual tickets can be purchased from Ticketmaster or Oztix.
