While there has been speculation that the event would postpone or be cancelled all together the Pokolbin venue has officially stated that the gig is scheduled to go ahead.
Event promoters say that the Red Hot Summer Tour show at Roche is approved to proceed under the NSW Government Public Events Framework.
People who attend the event will be required, as a condition of entry, to comply with any current mandates imposed by the NSW Health Department including sign in via the event’s QR Code at the Point of Entry.
While these requirements may change at any time, we’ve put together a list of some of the things you need to know before you go.
Bring a camp chair or picnic rug
Once you make your way through the gates you’ll be required to remain seated where possible.
So, it’s time to bust out the trusty camping chair or your favourite picnic rug.
And think about comfort, as you’ll be spending a fair amount of your time with your butt firmly planted on whatever you bring.
Bring a mask
When you’re not sitting down enjoying the show, you’ll need to mask up and ensure that you’re wearing it at any point where you can’t socially distance.
Event promoters say that complimentary Face Masks will be available at the First Aid marque on site and there is enough room for patrons to sit comfortably and move around the site with ease.
Leave your dance shoes at home
Cut footloose…. There will be no dancefloor at the event and you’ll need to let Dad that moshing to Jimmy also off the cards.
Bring a gig buddy
You’ll be required to remain in your group for the event, so make sure you find your gig buddy early as “congregations of groups will not be permitted”.
