JAMMIN’: Rascal pays tribute to Bob Marley with a Jamaican inspired TACO!

“One good thing about music,” sang Bob Marley in 1973, “when it hits you, you feel no pain.”

And we reckon if the reggae legend were alive today, he would extend that sentiment to these irie creations the good folks over at Rascal are serving up this week.

Normally known for their weird and wild burger experiments, this time around they’ve eschewed the buns for the inviting taco crunch for their tribute to the musical icon.

Dubbed the Get Up, Stand Up, this eclectic creation is sure to start a Soul Shakedown Party in your mouth.

Two ‘stand and stuff’ tacos envelop a heady, and spicy mix of Jamaican flavours with fried chicken, jerk sauce (a kind of Jamaican ketchup), grilled pineapple, a chilli and coriander Sambal and topped off with some toasted coconut crisps.

And don’t worry you’re not going to have to shoot the sheriff to get your hands on a pair of these Trenchtown Rockers, just hand over $16.50 and it’s all Positive Vibrations!

You’ll have to get in quick because these tasty morsels won’t stick around forever and you’ll have to nosh down in store as they’re not available for takeaway or delivery.

Head to Rascal at 1/266 King Street Newcastle, and The Corner Precinct, Charlestown Square and stand up for your rights to eat delicious tacos now!
