PRO TIPS: Handy cooking hints from top Hunter Valley chefs

Anyone else feel particularly hungry during this COVID-19 self-isolation period? Do we all have the quarantine munchies?

You may have had the very good fortune of visiting the Hunter Valley and sharing a meal with loved ones at one these fine establishments and now you can head straight to social media and get first-hand cooking tips and recipe suggestions from their chefs.

Over the last two weeks Troy Muse – renowned chef and owner of Muse Restaurant – has posted a series of warm, engaging and entertaining videos regarding the hospitality industry and cooking at home. Sound absolutely on for the pork belly crackling clip, omg.

Frank Fawkner (and his totally adorable son Hugo) has also posted a series of great videos with tips and recipes for totally delicious comfort food – think crumpets, scrambled eggs and warming pumpkin soup. All featuring quality local produce, as you’d expect from Frank’s famed EXP. Restaurant.

Muse Restaurant is located at Hungerford Hill Winery on Broke Road, Pokolbin and EXP. Restaurant will re-open in a new location (post coronavirus closure) next-door to Fawk Foods Kitchen & Bakery.

And we’ll just leave these tantalising menus here for you to salivate over and eagerly anticipate experiencing for yourself when this is all over.
