Get ready, Newcastle. It’s time to kick some serious putt!
Yep, that’s right. These school holidays, Australia’s most talked-about mini-golf sensation Pixar Putt will set up shop at Wheeler Place.
This pop-up mini-golf experience features interactive holes inspired by the stories, characters and icons from some of Pixar’s most beloved films including Toy Story, Onward, Soul, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Coco, Monsters Inc., Wall-E, Inside Out, and more.
“We are thrilled to be bringing Pixar Putt to Newcastle in April, including 18 unique, Selfie-worthy mini-golf holes for Novocastrians to enjoy right here in the heart of the city,” TEG Live Managing Director Tim McGregor said.
“Pixar Putt will be operating under a full COVIDSafe plan in consultation with the City of Newcastle and the NSW State Government. We are very proud that the event already has good COVIDSafe measures built into the course, as the safety of patrons and staff is TEG Like Touring and The Walt Disney Company’s top priority.”
While this putt-happy pop-up is sure to appeal to Newcastle’s littlest golf aficionados, much like the Pixar films the courses pay tribute to, Pixar Putt has something for all ages.
To that end, from 7pm Thursday to Saturday for the duration of the pop-up, the young at heart can channel their inner Mike Wazowski with Pixar Putt 18+ After Dark.
To infinity and beyond!
