Peking Duk are kicking off 2019 with a bang. Australia’s favourite duo are starting the year with the “Biggest Tour Ever ….So Far”. The band will be stopping in 15 cities across the country – coming to NEX in Newcastle on Saturday April 13th.
The Biggest Tour Ever will see Peking Duk play to nearly 50,000 fans. With a reputation for an epic live show, the duo will be sharing new music across the 3 months of shows.
“We are so damn stoked to announce this tour” Peking Duk said in a statement. “2019 is going to be the best year for Peking Duk yet. We’ll be releasing a lot the best music we’ve ever written and we plan to put on the biggest, sweatiest and wildest shows of all time.”

If the promise of new music isn’t enough, Peking Duk have also announced that they will be bringing two of Australia’s best up-and-coming acts with them – Kwame and Kira Puru.
Kwame uploaded his single ‘WOW’ to triple j Unearthed in February 2018, and things have literally not stopped since then. Three million streams on Spotify later, Kwame was crowned the Unearthed Artist of the Year. The Western Sydney rapper has nearly sold out two Cambridge Sidebar shows on this ‘CLOUDS’ Tour, and it might be your last chance to catch him in a room so small.
Similarly, Kira Puru had an extremely impressive 2018. The ex-novocastrian put out an whole EP of Pop bangers, killed it on Like A Version covering Katy Perry, and was announced for Mountain Sounds Festival next month.
