Newcastle outfit Paper Thin have announced a massive All Ages show for December to celebrate their new EP Living With. Being Without., released through Sydney DIY label Lost Boy Records.
The band are teaming up with AA Booking promoter Boys Don’t Cry for a show at The Commons on Friday, December 1st. Paper Thin will be joined by Smacked Youth, Dave, O kin Osan, and Bexx for this drug and alcohol free event.
Smacked Youth are one of the most popular bands in Newcastle’s burgeoning All Ages scene, releasing their latest single ‘Run’ back in August. Local three-piece dave were finalists in this years UniSounds BOTB competition, and are set to support British India in the coming weeks.
Rounding out the lineup will be Sydney Garage-Pop outfit O kin Osan, and underage rockers Bexx (FKA The Sons Of Tomorrow).
This All Ages show will be Paper Thin’s last hometown show for 2017. The band have had a massive year; releasing their 2nd EP Living With. Being Without. and supporting bands such as Japandroids, Ceres, and Oslow.
Their latest single, ‘When You Call’ was added to rotation on triple j Unearthed, and spun on Home & Hosed by Dom Alessio. 2018 is already looking bright for the band, having just been announced for Thrashville in January alongside Frenzal Rhomb and Batpiss.
