After all that was said and done, the Pandemonium sideshow at Newcastle Entertainment Center on Tuesday night delivered a show that left everyone in the audience grinning from ear to ear.

The show kicked off with a blistering set from Wolfmother who treated the early arrivals to a smorgasbord of their biggest hits followed by an almost perfectly mixed set from The Psychedelic Furs (seriously, how good was the sound!).

Then the first of the big guns of the night, Blondie hit the stage with a retrospective that reminded everyone in the room just how important the band were to the musical canon. A rambunctious Debbie Harry, complete with platform sneakers, delivered a vocal performance that exceeded expectations and proved that she’s still on her game at 78 years old.

It was clear from the reaction of the crowd when The Price of Darkness hit the stage that the majority of the people in the almost sold-out Entertainment Center were there to see Alice Cooper deliver his timeless rock show. And boy did he deliver. Alice pulled out all the tropes he’s made famous over the years, ripping through hit after hit in front of a band that nailed every riff and rock move in the book.

Local photographer, Juan Mahoney was there to capture it all. You can see his photo galleries below.
