PAIRED: Celebrating Australian food and wine at Peregrin

Peregrin, Merewether’s newest culinary hotspot, has just announced a series of events that will celebrate the ingenuity and passion of Australia’s food and wine industry

Paired at Peregrin aims to highlight the magical synergy that occurs when exquisite wines are expertly paired with outstanding cuisine.

Kicking off this month, the inaugural Paired at Peregrin event will feature an intimate dinner with Vinden Wines.

A family-owned vineyard, Vinden Wines was established in 1990 by Guy and Sandra Vinden, and is renowned for its commitment to organic and regenerative farming practices. Now under the stewardship of second-generation winemaker and viticulturist Angus Vinden, Vinden Wines continues to produce minimal-intervention wines that reflect the unique terroir of their estate.

The indulgent five-course degustation, designed to be progressional and communal, will feature dishes influenced by the seasons. Each course will be meticulously paired with a selection of vintage and new-release wines from Vinden, ensuring a harmonious blend of tastes that complement each other perfectly.

Diners will also have the chance to engage with the winemaker, Angus Vinden, and learn about the philosophy and practices behind his Wines.

Future events in the Paired at Peregrin series will continue to feature prominent figures and producers from Australia’s food and wine industry, promising a rotating lineup of exceptional culinary experiences.
