Young CHELSEA BERMAN, singer/songwriter from the Central Coast, joins us “live” in the studio tonight, brought to you by Music Solutions at Warners Bay.
Starting out in the music scene 5 years ago with her duo JUST BETWEEN US, Chelsea has decided to take her love of country and song writing to the next level by launching her solo career.
Even though she is only 18 years of age, Chelsea is an experienced performer and vocalist, having been singing since a very young age and gigging for 5 years. Her song writing is catchy with pop influences that allow her music to be enjoyed by a wide audience.
Chelsea is kept very busy doing gigs and performing at markets and has also experienced the rigors of the X-Factor this season and when not gigging, helps out in the family business, DROM CLOTHING on the Central Coast.
Chelsea has been shortlisted and is a finalist, for the 2nd year in a row, in the Australian Songwriters’ Association Song Writing Competition.

Country Music Artist, BEN RANSOM joins us on the phone courtesy of Cardiff Golf Driving Range. Ben will be chatting about his music, upcoming gigs and his current single DRY TOWN which has been attracting some great reviews.
With powerful vocals and infectious melodies, BEN RANSOM has all the hallmarks of a classic performer and his music is described as hot, energetic and exciting guitar driven country rock.
BEN RANSOM was the winner of the Best Male Rising Star at the 2016 Southern Star Awards and is certainly very popular and heading for a bright future.

Another country music artist, REBECCA LEE NYE, has recently released a new single, focussing on the emotions of losing a loved one, called ONE TEAR IN MY HEART.
This heartfelt song was co-written with her close friend PETA CHEREE. ONE TEAR IN MY HEART is the 3rd single from her album GYPSY HEART.
Sue Jarvis from Capital News stated, “The voice of Rebecca Lee Nye carries every nuance of emotion, effortlessly soaring to the heights of passion and plummeting to the depths of despair”.

This Sunday, my goodness, the huge SOLD OUT Event, LIVE AT THE FORESHORE, is certain to be a day and night to remember. 16 iconic acts including Ross Wilson, Richard Clapton, Dragon, 1927, Mi-Sex, Swanee and Sharon O’Neill. Gates open at 12.30pm, Sharon O’Neill hits the stage just after 1pm.
On tonight’s program, in between guests, we will play hits from the artists appearing this Sunday just to help get you in the mood, so tune in between 6pm and 9pm tonight. I wonder if I can do a sneaky phone call or two and have a quick chat with some of the members of these bands?
With Aussie Ossie Radio, we have regular weekly programs, including Locals Only on a Monday Night which presents 3 hours of music from bands and artists from the Central Coast/Lake Macquarie/Newcastle areas. Locals’ music is also played throughout the week in various playlists on the station.
