NTL Landmarks release The Saint

The five-piece will be launching their new single with a very lovely hometown show at The Lass O’Gowrie Hotel, on Friday July 20th.

Newcastle outfit NTL Landmarks (pronounced ‘National Landmarks’) have released a new single. ‘The Saint’ is the first drop of new music from the band since 2015, with plans for an EP on the horizon.

You can listen to ‘The Saint’ right now on Bandcamp and triple j Unearthed, and expect the song on your digital streaming platforms at any moment. The band recorded the song with Fraser Marshall from PALS, and it was recorded in a granny flat out the back of frontman Ryan Williams’ house.

The song sees NTL Landmarks head in more of an Indie Rock direction; there’s less of a roots/blues influence here, and a few more notes taken from bands like Angel Olsen and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever.

NTL Landmarks have been walking the boards of Newcastle for a few years now. The band are fresh off playing the massive Raave Tapes Shut Down The Cambridge show, and have recently shared stages with Bleeding Knees Club, High-Tails, and NOIRE.

The five-piece will be launching their new single with a very lovely hometown show. The band will take the stage at their 2nd home, The Lass O’Gowrie Hotel, on Friday July 20th. Joining them on this show will be brand new band Holiday Basement (playing their first show), and local pop artist Belle Badi
