CEO of Snowy Hydro 2.0 Paul Broad spent his morning fronting the national media together with the Federal Environment Minister where it was announced the Government will build a $600 million gas-fired power station in Kurri.
A well known Novocastrian, Mr Broad is once again at the center of major change in the Hunter.
It’s all a part of a strategy to avoid a spike in power prices following the closure of Liddell Power Station in 2023, but when the private sector has chosen not to invest in this area why is it going ahead with tax-payer funds?
