NL: What have been your favourite songs to play live off your latest album Unbroken?

NOLLSIE: I love playing Southern Sky and Who I Amโ€ฆ the crowd goes off with them and we get to have a lot of fun with them on stage.

NL: What was it like to work with Craig Porteils again? What do you think he brings to the songs you work on together?

NOLLSIE:ย He is great to collaborate with, he really understands music and what the big picture is that an artist wants to achieve, I really enjoy the process with Craig.

NL: What do you think is the biggest misconception about your career?

NOLLSIE: Probably that Australian Idol is my career or that shows like that limit you. Australian Idol was an amazing opportunity for me and launched my career, without it I reckon I might still be farming somewhere. Itโ€™s a great platform but you have to work hard to maintain that career and I think a lot of people donโ€™t realise how much work artists have to do to have a โ€˜careerโ€™, its a lot more than just turning up for a show.

NL: We invite you to a party and you have to cook a dish to share. What do you bring?

NOLLSIE: Fish Tacos for sure!

NL: You’ve embraced the meme culture around your social media. Has someone come to pick up the lawnmower yet?

NOLLSIE: Ha, yeah I actually had to give it back to a mate after I outed myself for the extended loan there, but I do have a brand new Victa on the way myself โ€“ so itโ€™s not all that bad.
