32 SONGS & STILL GOING STRONG: Nick Raschke’s lockdown songs are just what your isolation needs

Newcastle musician Nick Raschke has been uploading some amazing videos over the last 5 weeks. His lockdown song series has covered everything from Nine Inch Nails and Pulp to Bowie and The Buggles. And it doesn’t look like he’s stopping anytime soon.

Nick is no stranger to local music lovers. The world-class guitarist became one of Newcastle’s most loved musos as the frontman for legendary Newcastle bands The Embers and The Slots. Since then, Nick has since gone on to play The Hard Rock Cafe Dubai, formed The Milestones, played countless duo and solo gigs around town and become an awarded nature photographer.

His series of lockdown videos serves as a great reminder of his skill as a musician and why he’s remained one Newcastle’s most loved performers.

You can check out 32 of his lockdown videos below.

You might have to wait a few moments for them all to load – there’s a lot of them!

Enjoy!
