Newcastle’s Troy Kemp has big time love for a Small Town Girl

Kempy is no stranger when it comes to the cover music scene. With 20 years of live performance under his belt and a music career that has seen him travel the globe and back you can be assured that you are going to get an energetic, laugh a minute, sing along, professional show that will leave you wanting more! A Kempy show is one guy, one guitar, one audience and one BIG set-list that will take you back to the 60’s and then bring you back through the decades to land you smack bang in the hits of the present day. Covering songs from Elvis, The Beatles, Van Morrison and Johnny Cash through to Jason Mraz, Train, The Foo Fighters and Keith Urban there’s a little bit of something for everybody. It’s a live show that will cater to almost any venue, event or occasion.

One of Newcastle’s favourite sons, Troy Kemp has released a new song and video clip from his first album since parting ways with McAlister Kemp in 2015. The single, Small Town Girl is taken from the album, Against The Grain

The hooky song with a punchy guitar line has been on high rotation on the Country Music Channel since its release.

You can check out the clip above and if you have CMC, you can see it at the top of each hour this Friday, March 4.
