Newcastle’s Paper Thin to debut at the Hammo

One of Newcastle’s newest bands, Paper Thin have announced details of their debut EP, which is set to be released through Lost Boy Records on Tuesday August 9.

Formed in April 2016, Paper Thin brings together singer songwriter Spencer Scott with members of Adeline Pines, Jen Buxton & The Slaughterhouse Five, and Crystal Cove.

The band will be launching the EP at their debut show at The Hamilton Station Hotel on Thursday, August 11.

Joining them will be local act All In A Year, Wollongong’s Jacob, Sad Grrrls Club founder Rachel Maria Cox.

Earlier this month the band put a live version of their song ‘State Of Your Life, Mate’ online, with the video amassing over 3,000 views since its release.

The release was recorded and mixed by Newcastle’s very own, Geoff Mullard at RTN Studios, and Mastered by Bill Henderson at Azimuth Mastering.

The EP will be available digitally through Bandcamp, as well as on CD and a limited run of Cassettes.
