Newcastle’s Hot Fox pay tribute to Prince for Music on the Spot

HOT FOX combines the talents of Rupert Jenner & Ty Penshorn from Little Hornet fame with the amazing talents of Vinny Crash from Love Child to complete the line up. All members are experienced front-men from previous line-ups. Their 3 part vocal harmonies are a stand-out credit. In comparison to majority of bands, their harmonies being unique and a noteable strength. This gives HOT FOX the diversity to perform unplugged in a busking environment to blasting their show through a stadium sized system. HOT FOX are huge on the entertainment factor, interact with the crowd & get involved to become one with the audience. The boys have a world of experience which shines in their professionalism, presentation of themselves & their show. The repetoire is high energy dance floor fillers + big chorus sing-a-longs ranging from 50’s + 60’s rock & roll to current top 40 hits plus featuring a healthy serving of 80’s classics. Vinny Crash’s ability to play a stand-up drum kit stuns, shocks & amazes the audience whilst he dances to his own beats! Don’t miss their next show for a satisfying night of entertainment. A few weeks ago we told you about Bob Corbett and Peter Bower’s Music On The Spot web series. Well they’ve just posted a video of Newcastle band, Hot Fox paying tribute to Prince with a cover of Raspberry Beret. And it’s pretty awesome.

Music on the Spot is a showcase of the immense talent that performs within the Newcastle Australia live music scene. The brain child of local musician and videographer, Bob Corbett and writer, photographer Peter Bower, the web series provides opportunities to a diverse range of artists to perform music live on location in this beautiful city of Newcastle.

Hot Fox features local musos Ty Penshorn and Rupert Jenner “along with their good friend Vinny on drums”.

Their performance takes place outside the Honeysuckle hotel.
