We know Newcastle’s Got Talent…now it’s time to PROVE IT!

Do you have a talent that you have been meekly hiding under a bushel for years?

Well, now’s the time to blow your own trumpet because we are on the hunt for the most talented Novocastrians.

Yep, that’s right we are launching Newcastle’s Got Talent – Newcastle’s very first online talent quest.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

While there’s no denying that when it comes to musicians, songwriters, artists, actors, comedians and heck even magicians, we are literally dripping with international level talent in this city.

And while all of the aforementioned pursuits are eligible and eagerly encouraged to enter, we want to see what strange skills you Novocastrians have.

Can you play a recorder with your nostrils? We want to hear from you. Are you able to burp the second verse to Advance Australia Fair? Well, get that camera rolling, buddy! Can your dance better than Christopher Walken in Fatboy Slim’s Weapon Of Choice clip? Start warming up because we’re all eyes!

HOW TO ENTER

All you have to do is film yourself executing your amazing talent, upload it file sharing service and send us your link.

Upload your video using Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive or any other cloud storage provider and email the link to ngt@newcastlelive.com.au

Don’t forget to tell us your name, phone number and what you call your act.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to make your dropbox link publicly available so we can download the file.

THE COMPETITION

All submitted clips will be uploaded to our Facebook page and our wonderful Newcastle Live audience will vote on their faves by clicking the like on your video.

Those clips with the highest number of likes will proceed to a finals series – the winners of which will receive some awesome prizes.
