Newcastle Writers Festival celebrates Australian reading hour with virtual event

Newcastle Writers Festival is hosting an online event tomorrow as part of the Australian Reading Hour.

Originally launched for the National Year of Reading in 2012, Australian Reading Hour encourages all Australians to set aside one hour on one day to read.

Newcastle Writers Festival’s virtual Australian Reading Hour programme kicks at 9.30 am on Tuesday 14 September but the sessions will remain on the festival’s YouTube channel for 12 weeks!
