Newcastle Sunday delivers its last newspaper

Our mates over at the Newcastle Sunday have made the hard decision to cease publication, effective immediately.

In a statement (below), managing directors of the newspaper Elwyn and Elizabeth Lang say they made the decision after dealing with a “combination of issues” including low sales of the Sunday publication.

We wish everyone involved all the best in their future endeavours.

  1. Did not have enough out there . I only found out about it 3 weeks ago. LOVED IT. But if you do not tell anyone about it, how can we know it exists. I found out through a friend. Will miss it. We need a local SUNDAY.
