The Greater Bank Newcastle Show Rural Achiever Award supports rural advocacy and provides young leaders with a platform for enhanced professional growth.
Applications for the 2022 Award, sponsored by Varley, are now open to people aged between 20 and 29.
People whose contributions to rural and regional communities distinguish them as the outstanding and inspiring leaders of the future are encouraged to apply.

“Varley has always supported the Newcastle Show since its conception along with recognising and encouraging the future leaders within this region.”
Finalists will have the opportunity to secure a cash prize, participate in a short course at Tocal Agricultural College, an internship with Varley, network with primary producers, industry leaders and organisations, working behind the scenes at the largest rural agricultural event in New South Wales.
