It’s that time of year again!

The Newcastle Regional Show is about to roll into town for another 3 days of rides, show bags, and more fun and frivolity than you can poke a stick at.

And we’ve got all the info you need to make the most of it!


Below you’ll find information on tickets for this year’s show. Our tip, if you’re looking to attend for more than one day, is to grab one of the 3-day supporter’s tickets.


Adult (15+): $25

Concession: $15

Child (6-14): $15

Under 5 years: Free

Family of 4 ( max 2 adults ): $60

Family of 5 ( max 2 adults ): $65


3 Day Membership:  $30


The 2020 Newcastle Regional Show will be held at The Newcastle Showgrounds. Point your Google map to 1A Curley Rd, Broadmeadow.

Friday 6 March: 9am-10.30pm (Last ride 10pm)

Saturday 7 March: 9am-10.30pm (Last ride 10pm)

Sunday 8 March: 9am-5.30pm (Last ride 5pm)


Driving to the show? There is a public car park available at Wanderers Oval, which is only a short walk from the showground. Disabled parking is also available on Australia Road, just outside the entry gates.

OPEN: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 7:30 am – 10:30 pm
COST: $5.00 per car


Our tip is to grab a train to The Show. It’s only a short walk from Broadmeadow station and you don’t have to worry about the car. Click the link below for timetable information


There are also a number of bus routes that will get you to The Show. You need to jump on Bus 21 coming from Newcastle East, Bus 25 coming from Charlestown and Bus 27 coming from Wallsend. Click on the link below for more information.
