Newcastle Live’s Music Trivia is back again this Friday night

Powered By Betty’s Burgers

OK musical brainboxes, time to get those thinking caps on again.

Newcastle Live Trivia is back this Friday night, 3 September from 8 pm thanks to Betty’s Burgers & Concrete Co.

It’s the same format you tuned in for last week, with quizmaster Dan Beazley hosting proceedings and ‘axeman’ Stephen Bisset playing the riffs.

It’s free to play, just head to our Facebook Event to register.

Betty’s Burgers is so excited to officially be in town and share the special Betty’s experience with all Novacastrians! Make sure to download the Betty’s app to not only get the best benefits and freebies, but also to save time by ordering ahead. The Betty’s team can’t wait to welcome you through their doors.

There’ll be three rounds of ten questions that you can answer by yelling at the screen, using a scrap piece of paper or downloading your very own answer sheet.

At the end of each round, Dan will reveal the answers and you can give yourself, or your team, a score and let us know how many questions you got right by dropping a comment on the live stream.

If you’ve never had the chance to play music trivia on the live stream with us, or you just want to brush up on your skills, you can check out past episodes on our Facebook page.

If you’re into specifics, head here to check out the 90s music special, here for our music from movies and television extravaganza. or even here for the RiffWiz guess the riff edition

There are a few different ways to play. Whether you’re chilling out by yourself, hanging with the family, playing against your housemates or trying to reign supreme against another team.

It’s you vs the world!

If you’re playing by yourself, all you need to do is tune into the Facebook Live stream and yell your answers at the screen.

It’s that simple.

If you want to take your game to the next level you can download and print the answer sheet and mark your own answers at the end of each round.

It’s player vs player, Mum vs Dad, housemate vs housemate!

If you want to play against the other people in your house you can make your own answer sheets or download ours.

At the end of each round, you can mark each other’s answer sheet, just to make sure no one is adding a few cheeky points. Don’t forget to add up your scores and let us know how each of you did in the comments of the live stream.

It’s team rivalry with house vs house!

In this mode, we’re encouraging you to form a team with the people in your house and play against other teams doing the same thing.

You can use FaceTime, Zoom or other video conferencing apps to connect or just send a message to the other team to brag about your score. Each team can use its collective knowledge to answer the questions using our answer sheet or you can make your own.

At the end of each round teams mark their own answer sheets and crown a winner from their rivals.
