We’re so excited to announce that on Monday, 5 September 2022, we’ll be welcoming a new member of our family, The Newcastle Live n’ Local Music Show.
Hosted by local music evangelist, Bonnie Anne, the show will celebrate our amazing local music scene every Monday night from 6 pm.
The show will also feature interviews with local artists who are hitting the stage at Lizotte’s Live n’ Local showcase on Wednesday nights.
“It’s so important to me to be able to highlight the incredible amount of local talent that we have right now in Newcastle and the Hunter,” The Newcastle Live n’ Local Music Show host and producer Bonnie Anne said.
“We always talk about the ’80s and the ’90s and the incredible music scene we had here in Newcastle, but right now, under our noses, we have all of these incredible musicians and bands that are kicking butt.
“So each week there will be a curated local playlist featuring exclusive live tracks, plenty of interviews, local music news and the best gigs.”
Bonnie will also produce a podcast for the Newcastle Live Podcast Network each week, so you’ll be able to catch the show whenever you like.
The first show will feature local singer-songwriter Piper Butcher who will talk about an event she’s curating called ‘Bout Time Fest.
Also on the show, Bonnie will chat with Abbi Yeo, Arron White and Chloe Parker who will all be playing the Lizotte’s Live n’ Local showcase on Wednesday, 7 September.
