The Ball, an immersive, all-encompassing night of performance, mystery and glamour, is coming to Newcastle with a star-studded lineup, all in support of the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation.
Bartholomew’s will reopen its doors to reveal a complete transformation, unveiling The Ball as a reimagined evening of movement, spectacle and indulgence that unfolds in every corner of the venue.
With no stage and no separation between audience and artists, the event invites guests to step directly inside its atmospheric world where lights shift, stories evolve, and performers drift through the room like characters from a living novel.
Headliners include Natalya Alessi, Eli Fury, Courtney Lyall, Porcelain Alice, aerial duo Sarah Evelyn Booker and Killian Denecker, and the commanding Host of Formalities Bettie Bang Bang.
DJs Bon Binary and Baltah carry the energy late into the night, weaving soundscapes that shape each moment as it arrives.
From fire artistry to aerial spectacle and roving characters drawn from the night’s own mythology, The Ball promises an experience that feels both opulent and unpredictable.
Across the venue, guests will discover hidden pockets of enchantment. Interactive installations, a fortune teller’s cove, curated character encounters and roaming performers create a sense of constant motion, ensuring no two moments look or feel the same.
Every detail, from candlelit ambience to Victorian-inspired costuming, has been designed to build a world that feels rich, dramatic and a little dangerous, echoing dark Bridgerton romance and the brooding moors of Wuthering Heights.
Even the music becomes part of the storytelling, drifting unpredictably through the space as lighting and movement shift around it.
At its heart, The Ball is a celebration of elegance, art and community, and it carries a powerful purpose. The evening proudly supports the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation, giving every moment of enchantment a deeper meaning. Guests aren’t simply attending a show; they are stepping inside a world where they become part of the experience.
The Ball takes place on Friday, 19 June at Bartholomew’s on King Street. Tickets include a five-hour premium drink package and roaming canapés. For bookings and details, head to our Gig Guide.
