There’s no denying that the COVID-19 pandemic has raised many financial, psychological and public health concerns.
That’s why the City Of Newcastle has released a free wellbeing toolkit to support the community and local businesses through these uncertain times.
The 34-page pack covers a range of topics including tips on boosting your immune system, improving your mental health and looking after your social wellbeing.
The pack also contains links to support services such as Lifeline and Beyond Blue while also providing tips on how to limit media exposure to reduce stress and anxiety, home workouts for adults and kids, financial resources and a directory of domestic and family violence support services.
“Every one of us has been impacted by the coronavirus and we’re all doing the best we can to keep ourselves and our families safe and healthy,” Lord Mayor Nuatali Nelmes said.
“City of Newcastle’s COVID-19 Wellbeing Information Pack contains useful resources to support the health of our community and connect people to the services they may need in this challenging time.
“We are living through history, so it’s OK to press pause and access the help you need to stay well – physically, mentally, socially and financially.”
