Master builders of all ages will showcase some of the most amazing LEGO creations ever seen at this year’s Newcastle Brickfest.
The event will take over the Newcastle Jockey Club over two massive days of LEGO action in July.
Newcastle Brickfest has become one of Australia’s Premier LEGO Fan Events, run by Rainbow Bricks, a local group of volunteer LEGO fans.
Visitors will be able to interact with the exhibitors, ask them questions about their exhibits and take part in a whole stack of LEGO building fun.
The popular City Layout is back, complete with working trains, and Hunter Heroes will be on hand Cosplaying pop culture characters and taking photos with the crowd.
There’ll be a Build Area open for everyone to construct their own LEGO creations, speed build competitions each hour, remote control trackers, Minifigure hunts, colouring-in competitions and a LEGO Raffle.
The event is a not for profit event which has supported Newcastle charities for the seven years it has run. And this year Brickfest has chosen the John Hunter Children’s Hospital Kids Club as their charity partner.
Newcastle Brickfest will take over the Newcastle Jockey Club, on Darling Street in Broadmeadow, on Saturday 9 July and Sunday 10 July. For more information and ticket visit trybooking.com.
