A Photography Exhibition will be held on Saturday December 12 from 10am until 6pm at the Carrington Community Centre on Young and Hargrave Streets with nearly 200 photographs will be on display.
The exhibition is of photos by current members of Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Photographers Meetup group.
Last year’s inaugural event was a great success, and this year we’re going to take things a little further, by including several photoshoots on the day.
If you have half an hour (or more!) spare on 12 December, bring a gold coin donation to help with costs, come along and view the photos on display, talk to the photographers, and – if you’re a budding photographer, book in for one of the 3 studio shoots they’ll be holding on the day on http://meetu.ps/2QfyCV
For those of a more voyeuristic persuasion, you’ll be able to witness a studio shoot in action, with model shoots being held at 10am, 1pm and 3pm. Learn more about strobe lighting, model posing, theatrical makeup effects, and much more.
