Ne Obliviscaris will be launching their new album ‘Citadel’ at the Cambridge Hotel on Friday, the 28th of November.
Formed in 2003, Ne Obliviscaris (pronounced Nay Ob-li-vis-kar-is) has since gone on to widespread critical acclaim throughout Australia, with many hailing their unique sound, intense live shows as groundbreaking.
It’s been just over two years since the band released their debut ‘Portal Of I’, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the new material. The band have raised just over $80,000 for the production of the new album via the crowdfunding site Pozible, which has set a new Australian record for music-related crowdfunding.
A 6-piece metal band consisting of violin, 2 guitars, bass, drums, clean and extreme vocals, Ne Obliviscaris creates music of many extremes. With compositions often exceeding ten minutes in length, Ne Obliviscaris is at times very technical and complex and at others simple and subtle, creating an extremely original brand of metal that defies normal categorisation.
