Well, it may not be what some people were expecting when they heard about the return of Narara Music Festival, but organizers Adrian Buckley & Dan Burrows have kept to their word avoided the nostalgia route & come up with a cracking 12 band lineup full of serious Australian rock, blues & psychedelia.
Anyway you look at it the May 6 2017 festival is going to be a rollicking day & night of rock from some of Australia’s best live bands – some already firmly established on the festival scene & others most definitely at the beginning of a great journey.
In a nod to the heritage of the original Narara Music Festival’s all bands will be playing 1 song from the original lineups, so expect to hear some awesome covers of classic Angels, INXS, Rose Tattoo, Cold Chisel & others.
Though Narara will be a stripped back festival with no market stalls outside of a merch tent, no glamping, yoga or personal chefs for VIP’s, there will be a host of fantastic food options & a well-stocked bar.
In addition, the organizers will be working with some of the country’s best roving performers to add even more colour to what will be a technicolour event.
Tickets to the festival go on sale on October 20 at $89 + BF (camping $10 extra) & an early bird ticket price of $69 + BF (camping $10 extra) will run until the end of November.
